Thailand Barramundi Fly Fishing in the beautiful Thailand countryside with you own personal fly fishing guide. We fly fish for Barramundi at Private Waters which are lightly fished, so the Barramundi are not shy of the fly.

Fly fishing only at the finest Barramundi fly fishing ponds in Thailand. Fly fishing at several different locations but all are private fly fishing ponds or lakes. All hold good stocks of high quality Barramundi. The quality of fish and flyfishing is exceptional.
This flyfishing day trip may be taken as an individual fly fishing day or one or two fly fishing days included in a bespoke fly fishing vacation.
We have two distinct fly fishing waters in Thailand. No.1 provides fish in the 8 to 12 lb. class. We recommend at least one fly fishing session at this pond before visiting No. 2 pond which offers fish in the 10 to 20 lb. class. Even the most experienced fly fishers find the first fly fishing visit to No. 1 pond as invaluable preparation before flyfishing at No. 2 pond.
We usually depart Bangkok at 10 am, fly fishing until dusk.
Catches can be in the region of 10 to 15 fish per rod per day. Bags can reach 30 fish.
Weights vary by location but average 8 to 12 lbs up to 16lb, with the occasional 20 lb. plus fish.
Fly rod line weights from 7 to 9 will deal with all fly fishing situations in Thailand.
No “Fancy Casting” or long distance casting required.
Floating & Full Intermediate lines will cover most fly fishing situations. A density compensated 300 grain sinker can be useful.

Children - we regret the minimum age for all guests is 16 years. This is a condition of our insurers.

Please note: This is a professionally guided fly fishing trip with an IGFA Certified Fly Fishing Guide with 43 years fly fishing experience and all the QUALITY tackle you need included.
Cheaper operators who are not fly fishing guides, do not supply tackle, leaders and flies and do not provide a professional fly fishing guide.
The cheap operator merely provides transport to the fishing venue and little else.
